needs, particularly for institutions, military, off-shore drilling locations and
government use. Customers include hospitals, retail stores, government and non-government
aid agencies, institutions and militaries.

provides the capability to deliver large orders quickly and to meet emergency
needs.
Long Life Rations
J&M Food Products Company offers a number of long life rations in either
single meal or individual day pack format and can customize the items for large
orders.

J&M Food Products Company ships from existing inventory at standard commercial
pricing. We usually ship within two business days of receipt of an approved order.

Experience
In 1996, J&M Food Products Company developed and demonstrated a new commercial,
military ration, which is distributed via a demand-driven logistics system to
reduce government inventories for special items. J&M Food Products Company
became the leader in a program for the US Military to purchase rations assembled
from commercial components, reducing the need for government-maintained inventories
of ration components. J&M Food Products Company has consistently been the
supplier of halal military rations since 1996.
Technical Services and Support
J&M Food Products Company’s technical and production teams are
experts in menu planning and preparation services. The processes we employ
to extend the lifetime of food include the following:
Health and Sanitation Inspection
Main course meals are produced in United States Department of Agriculture
(USDA) inspected production facilities. Meat products carry a USDA-certified symbol.
Non-meat main courses are produced in the same facilities. Main course meals,
assembled menus and most other food components are produced in production facilities
listed in the "Directory of Sanitarily Approved Food Establishments for Armed
Forces Procurement."
J&M Food Products Company’s Assembly and Distribution center is USDA for export services and warehousing. All company production, warehousing and distribution facilities operate under a system of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) management.
Dhabiha Halal and Halal Certification
J&M Food Products Company is the recognized, high quality producer and supplier of dhabiha halal and halal certified rations and meals. Our company commitment assures our customers that only the most stringent of Islamic standards are met in providing our meals. So strong is this commitment that we co-authored and published the first international "Halal Industrial Productions Standards" manual to encourage other food suppliers and manufacturers to work with trained Muslim inspectors during production and to adhere to strict Islamic principles.
